This cozy one-bedroom apartment is located just steps away from the famous Cathedral  Santa Maria del Fiore, at a short walk to all the major Florence's attractions, ideal for a couple wishing a comfortable place to stay in Florence.

Portinari holiday apartment  is  on the second floor ( no lift, 45 steps approx to walk up), of a building located  in Florence city center. The apartment is an ideal base to enjoy everything the city offers such as history, culture, art but also restaurants, shops, bars and much more.

If you want to cook or eat some typical tuscan dishes you should not miss the Mercato di San lorenzo: in the huge warehouse-like building on the ground floor you can find anything you wish to prepare your tuscan dinner or if you do no feel like cooking just walk up and in the food court there is plenty of choice.
